At Power Line, John Hinderaker points out something I did not know about Sarah Palin: she was a beauty pageant winner. That should seal the deal for John (that's what he tends to write about, while Paul Mirengoff is writing about English football, and Scott Johnson about popular music).
Another Minnesotan, however, writes about his regret that Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty was not McCain's choice. Writing at MinnPost, a journalistic website largely staffed by reporters laid off by the Star Tribune, a Minneapolis-based newspaper, Eric Black sets out his reasons.
