Solidarity Forever!

Sarah Palin is reportedly a former union member. That reminds me of one of my favorite political trivia questions: who were the only two former union presidents to be nominated for president or vice president by a major party? And which party was it? (As you may have guessed, in that sense, it is a bit of a trick question.)
