The House passed the financial bailout bill, today, by a vote of 263 to 171. This time, the breakdown by party was:
Yes: 172 Democrats and 91 Republicans
No: 63 Democrats and 108 Republicans
It's still not at all a party-line vote. A majority of Republicans again opposed the bill, but there were still a substantial number of votes from each party on each side of the issue.
There were 58 additional "yes" votes, consisting of 32 Democrats and 26 Republicans.
